Should I Move or Upgrade My Website
When you are moving your old site to a new platform because it is outdated, you need to apply the next few steps. Otherwise, you will have to do a lot of unnecessary work.
- The first thing to consider is how well your website is doing currently.
- Do you need a server that is bigger and faster?
- If not, then you will save some money for now until it comes to a point where you need something that will handle your needs.
- Are you going to use the same layout / template?
- If you are trying to use the same layout / template, make sure it is compatible with your new update.
- IE: Joomla, WordPress and so-on
- If you don't make the necessary checks you will end up with a mess trying to figure out all the errors that will develop.
- If you are 3rd party extensions, you will need to do the following.
- Make sure they are compatible with your need updated layout / template.
- If they are not updatable you will have several issues with the layout / template
- Once these choices have been made you can proceed with your new website template

- RSJoomal uses RSPageBuilder in components to build webpages and it’s easy to use. There is coding to input if you are not familiar with it, however, if you install the templates data that comes with it, it’s easy to figure out.

- If not, check the last time extensions and templates have been update. If they have not been updated in a while you can run into significant issues on your website.

- This website has templates and some extensions, but not as many as RSJoomla.com. However, there are many extensions out there that are compatible with Rocketthemes. Hence, RSJoomla extension will work with their templates.
- Rockettheme uses a Gantry 5 system with is very easy to use.
